  Age:    70
      George Holland, of Berlin, formerly of Princeton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 19, 2003. He was born on April 12, 1932 in Kenosha the son of Cal and Nina (Whitbeck) Holland. He served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1955. George married Marlene Friend on December 24, 1957 in Galesburg, IL. He worked at the Berlin Foundry for 30 years as a pattern maker. He was a member of PACE Employers Union, Old Timers Association, and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton. George is survived by 3 daughters Lisa Holland and special friend Robert Schumacher of Ripon, Renee (Donald) Daniels of Berlin, Dawn (Robert) Gosse Jr. of Appleton; son Michael (Kasey) Holland of Ripon; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Shirley Kautzer of Sheboygan, Calista (Lattimer) Correa of Waukegan, IL.; 2 brothers Burr (Erma) Holland of Princeton, Calistus “Jim” (Janet) Holland of Princeton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. A funeral service for George Holland will take place on Saturday, March 22, at 11:00 A.M., from St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton with Rev. Robert Pless officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
